Jimminey cricket, I've spent almost a whole year trying to get this shitty service straightened out, I call cust. service and I get somebody I can't even understand, I ask to speak with someone else and damned if they're not harder to understand, No one seems to be able to help me, maybe its me thats hard to understand, I just want what the "F" I pay $30.00 a month for to "F"ing work. God it just pisses me off. Now it sounds like a spin through hell to get cancelled, don't know if I have it in me. I may just become one of those jaw dropping news stories, you know the ones I'm talking about...

| I was actually very happy with Aol dial up for 5 years then suddenly I could get onto the internet but not onto any websites. After several weeks and many phone calls to the help centre they had no idea what was wrong. I had the idea they were trying to force me to upgrade so just kept Aol for emails. Finally after 7 motnhs of this I went to a new internet supplier. Now after 5 months with a new supplier a debt collector has written saying I owe Aol £72 for my broadband connection! I informed them I never had a broadband connection. I also paid up to date every month and owe them nothing but in fact they owe me for 7 months for which I paid them but they did not provide a service. It is well time someone in power took this rogue company to task. |

As we speack I am trying to cancel my aol account. Now I know I cancelled about 15 days ago. I reveiwed my bank statement and they was a debit. I called =closed on Sunday. I did live talk and after I explained the situation the clerk said they did not hadle cances they do billing. Duhh. After checking my emails,, history etc. I came across you web sight which let
mr know I was not illiterate to cancellations. They are playing games and I would be glad to put my name on the lawsuit also. Next they will be like those banks that took all of our money through bounced checks because of people like aol who debit our accounts after we cancel. The will want bail outmoney also, watch and see! Thank for letting me vent. God Bless out efforts to stop AOL from doing this. |

| Back in october of 2008 i called and went on line and cancelled my home aol account. recently i discoved that they are still pulling the money out of my account. i caled the rude person told me i never cancelled that account i told him yes i did plus the house has no phone line nor does ti have a phone the only difference is the screen name i kejpt and use at my business i went to dsl the man was rude and adimit i ended up hanging up he insisted i was online right know which was inpossible since the phone was disc. and the line was damaged i own the home but do not live there the account was in my name with the phone but i did not handle the checking acct so had no clue they were still taking it out i have gone thru all types of ways to cancell and want my money back and still it is not cancelled i am appalled at the way the act. |
