Kindle Fire is the Best Medium Range Tablet

Filed under: Electronics — Tags: — admin @ 10:57 am

Monthly Archives: January 2011After the success of the Kindle e-book readers, Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet has rocked the tablet market. The Android based Kindle Fire runs a fork of the Android OS and provides access to Amazon’s very own app store, as well as media streaming and e-book reading facility. The approximate price of Kindle Fire is merely $199, which makes it a huge competitor to other established brands such as iPad. The price difference alone is quite difficult to bridge, as iPad costs $300-$500 more than Kindle Fire. Furthermore, the loyalty of Android users has made this tablet more noticeable among tablet users. Development by third-party developers began shortly after the Kindle Fire release and rooting guides and hacking tip have been regularly coming out to make Kindle Fire more fun to use. With the growing market of this device, it is likely that consumer loyalty, low price and development efforts from hackers like the ones at XDA, it is likely that Kindle Fire will soon become a market leader in the tablet market.
