Filed under: General — Tags: — admin @ 7:45 pm

Cold sores are an annoying problem and relief for cold sores can be difficult to find. Over-the-counter medicines specifically for cold sores may give you temporary relief, but don’t always work. Even if you have received relief from a specific over-the-counter drug in the past, next time you try it, you may not be that successful in curing your cold sores. There are several home healing remedies for sold sores that are not only easier to come by, but they also usually work better. Ice is the most common home remedy for cold sores and its always available. Simply rub an ice cube on the sore until it melts every hour for one day. The sore will reduce in size. Another common remedy is a tea bag. Applying a warm tea bag to the area for 30 minutes will cause the sore to decrease in size and also relieve any pain. Using home remedies will also save you a lot of money, which is always a plus.
